Perfect! Great people and wonderful scenery , food and horses
Perhaps the most unique aspect of The Red Rock Ranch was that they helped organize the competitions and activites that made our stay so memorable. The went way above and beyond the normal expectations of this type of event and I would recommend their facility and service to anyone wanting a truly unique experience. Great Job Doug! You are remarkable in every aspect. Please tell you staff that we appreciate all their hard work!
The staff was amazing from, Doug, the manager to everyone of his staff. I could mention each by name, but it would be futile because all were equally excellent. The food was outstanding, not just outstanding for a dude ranch, but outstanding from a 5 star restaurant perspective from the lamb to the apple and rum raisen crepes! Truly delectable!
The staff had the ability to not only be professional, but personal and laugh and joke with the guests in a manner that made us feel like family.
I can't imagine any visitor would ever be disappointed here.
We have vacationed in many fabulous spots across the globe and this one Ranch won our hearts. The ranch Manager and his wife are kind and generous, full of yes ma'ams and yes sirs and taking the extra step of not only making fresh breads and cakes each day but also making certain our son has a birthday cake for his birthday where all of the guests sang. We had our hats and jeans branded, penned cattle with our horses, rode and hiked high into the hilltop and fly-fished until we could fish no more. There were breakfast rides with coffee and pancakes and bacon by the river with cookouts and cocktail parties with the adults while our children played and danced and were kept interested by the wranglers. We booked again for the following summer before leaving the ranch.
I just spent a week at the Red Rock ranch for a corporate retreat with about 25 other hotel managers. We are all people that teach, preach, and practice hospitality in our jobs and represent many award winning hotels. Our expectations are high and every expectation was met and exceeded.
